Join us and Maria from Vera Studios to decorate pumpkins with dried flowers! You’ll take home a medium sized pumpkin for your lovely fall decor.
Skip the carving knives and tap into your inner mixed-media artist! In this workshop, you will use fresh pumpkins as your canvas to curate a stunning cottagecore botanical collage. We will provide an eclectic buffet of vibrant, pre-pressed real flowers, whimsical ferns, and rich autumn foliage for you to play with. You will learn how to visually balance textures, layer delicate petals, and fluidly wrap your organic designs around the curves of the pumpkin. Using artist brushes and a clear sealing medium, you will lock your custom floral masterpiece into place for a gorgeous, moody centerpiece that will totally level up your fall aesthetic.

More info about Maria: Maria's passion for horticulture and floral artistry began ten years ago. What started as a gardening hobby soon flourished into a fulfilling career and a way to share joy with others. Today, Maria owns a local floral studio known for wedding/event florals, bouquets, floral preservation and dried/preserved décor. Her artistic flair and dedication to quality attract clients seeking unique floral designs.
With 15 years of early childhood education in her background, Maria blends practical experience with an imaginative teaching style. Her approach resonates with students, encouraging artistic expression across all ages. Maria aims to inspire students to discover their artistic voices and confidently bring their floral visions to life. Her classes emphasize creativity and self-expression. She loves to bring humor into her classroom and make her students feel heard and supported.
